Hi everyone,

Here is my blog for the E-teacher Scholarship Program Winter 2013. You might have noticed that this is not my first blog here on google blogger but the second one. It's true that the first one that I created a long time ago was just a test blog, because at that time I was new to Google Applications.

I have created other blogs on the internet and they deal with various topics. I would have loved you to see them but they are all in French and have nothing to do with the teaching of English.

The first time I attempted creating a blog, it was not difficult , but just a bit confusing with some words looking like each other and some instructions not being clear. But with regular practice, I succeeded and found it very exciting and I hope those who are doing it for the first time will like it the way I did.

The only secret with the internet is "read everything you can see on the screen". You know, you always have the possibility to do and undo things.

I hope you will enjoy yourself as much as I do when blogging.

  3. Well, Roland it is a question of trial and error I believe. That is the way I learned apart from some basic things somebody might have taught throughout the years.
I am still dubious when internet, nevertheless and I always think that I have made something wrong and that something may happen and destroy everything. At times I cannot find what I have written because I click on something and it dissappears. Well hope you the best and expect to share with you many things. Elena

  4. Hi Roland: Great first post on your blog. I think that a blog or website is never finished. It can always be perfected, and you can even become a bit obsessive about such things. So the fact that you can undo or redo blog/webpages is a double edge sword, so to speak, don't you think.

Can you try to turn off "Word Verification" on your blog to make it easier to post, please. It is step 6 on the instruction sheet.

    Great start! Robert

  5. Hi everyone,

thanks for the interest you show on my blog. It is true that for a couple of days I hadn't had a look at my blog because of too much work at the office.

I agree with Robert that the possibility of undoing and redoing things is a double-edge sword, but can you imagine what our documents would look like if we didn't have that possibility?

I think, I've finally turned off the "word verification" on my blog, but if you have a bit of time check and let me know please.

Thanks a lot for the encouragement.
